Beach Ambassadors Presents Check to Samaritan House

Virginia Beach, VA November 23, 2015: Beach Ambassadors donated $2,100 to locally-based Samaritan House to help the organization with its mission to combat domestic violence in Hampton Roads. The money was raised through the monthly event Martinis and Manicures, which is hosted by Beach Ambassadors in partnership with Eagles’ Nest Virginia Beach and Rudy and Kelly Academy.

2015-MartinisManicures-GroupOn the third Thursday of every month (6-9PM), patrons of Eagles’ Nest Virginia Beach receive a finely crafted martini and a manicure in exchange for a $15 donation to a local, Hampton Roads-based charity.  All of the proceeds go directly to the chosen charity.  To date, Beach Ambassadors has also helped raise money for Court Appointed Special Advocates and Jewish Family Services of Tidewater through its Martinis and Manicures event.  Beach Ambassadors plans to utilize the event to support four more local charities in 2016.

Samaritan House is a Virginia Beach-based non-profit with the goals of raising awareness of domestic violence in the community, and providing support to victims in the form of safe housing and rehabilitation programs.

Beach Ambassadors is a grassroots effort led by Hampton Roads men and women with the ultimate goal of supporting local, Hampton-Roads based charitable organizations through the use of social and sporting events.
